Travel to an isolated region between the eastern slopes of Haleakala and the Pacific Ocean. You’ll stop at the Seven Sacred Pools followed by lunch at Hana Ranch. The tour will also stop at the grave of the world-renowned aviator Charles Lindbergh. Returning to the ship, you will travel along the famous 30 miles of narrow winding road that offer views of rugged coastline, and see areas that have produced taro, bananas, and yams for hundreds of years. After the tour, there is an optional drop-off at Hilo Hattie’s for shopping.

A thrilling excursion that offers absolutely breathtaking views along the long, narrow, winding Hana Road! In a personable and most entertaining way, our guide Tom shared his extensive knowledge of the area and its points of interest. Without a doubt, a highlight of a visit to Maui!
The Road to Hana is paved, unpaved and full of potholes with breathtakingly beautiful rugged coastline views and jaw-dropping cliffs. Transportation appeared to be a converted elementary school mini-bus in dire need of shocks and a lube job. The seats were not comfortable for an adult body. As so much time is spent in the bus, I would avoid this very long shore excursion until transportation issues are addressed.
This remarkable drive should be included as one of the most beautiful drives in the United States. The scenery was beautiful, the overlooks thrilling as well as breathtaking. Do not miss this chance of a lifetime to view one of Hawaii's treasures.
