This truly memorable sightseeing experience on Kauai starts with a short drive through the town of Lihue to the helicopter terminal. You will listen to a safety briefing; then board an air-conditioned A-star jet helicopter. Your spectacularly scenic flight will last approximately 45 minutes but will stay with you for a lifetime. Soar through the heavens for a bird’s-eye view of lush valleys dotted with magnificent waterfalls; majestic and colorful Waimea Canyon; the impenetrable Napali Coast known for its towering razor sharp cliffs; inaccessible, secluded beaches; and other areas that have made the Garden Island a favorite location for Hollywood filming. Once back on earth you will begin a scenic drive along Kauai’s coconut coastline, laced with exotic beaches, lush vegetation and the site of numerous famous movies including Dragon Fly, South Pacific, Jurassic Park and Blue Hawaii. Visit the North Shore beaches and historic Hanalei Town caves and stop at the picturesque Kilauea Lighthouse built in 1913—proud owner of the largest clam-shaped lens ever made. Stroll along the Hanalei Pier for an unforgettable view of the spectacular and serene Hanalei Bay and beaches made famous by the movie South Pacific. Relax over lunch at Anini Beach Park adjacent to the property used for the movie Honeymoon in Las Vegas, or at famous Hanalei Bay.Notes:Picnic lunch including sandwich, chips and drink is included.
