The day we took this cruise, there were rough seas, cloudy weather and a strong chance of rain. When we boarded the vessel, the crew offered a refund to anyone who would like to cancel the trip. The boat was obviously totally overbooked with a lot of passengers standing up. About a good dozen or so very intelligent people opted for the refund and disembarked. We were still left with people standing due to no sitting area available. We then were taken to an area that was out of the storm's path. Several people were very seasick, so the crew was busy hosing the deck with disinfectant and asking people to go to the back of the boat to be sick. Once we stopped to snorkel, things got a lot more rough for a lot of people. The waves were high and constant and the current quick. People were also sick in the water. Needless to say this was not the crew's fault, but in a way everyone was annoyed that the Fury Catamaran even opted to leave the dock that day. So a word of advice, if you have bad weather on the day of your sail, be smart and get a refund on board, and enjoy lunch and shopping in town.
