Take a two-hour panoramic drive through the Parish of St George’s to discover Grenada, with very little walking required. You’ll leave from the Melville Street Port, driving through the town of St George’s over Old Fort Road, and head up to Morne Jaloux Ridge. Watch for Fort Frederick en route. Continue over Morne Jaloux Ridge, through Woburn and the Grand Anse Valley to True Blue. This is where the St George’s University is located. From True Blue, it’s not far to the Point Salines International Airport, built in 1979 by the Cubans but completed in 1984 by the British and Americans—a truly multinational project. Here, you’ll pause for refreshments before your drive continues through Morne Rouge to Grand Anse. Stop at Quarantine Station for photos; then head back to the port via the picturesque Carenage Harbor area.
