Take a 15-minute transfer along the Claude Noel Highway to Buccoo Bay Beach. Hop aboard a glass-bottom boat and head out to the Buccoo Reef. On the way, your captain will pass over the Coral Gardens and point out the fish and coral life before. You’ll anchor over the reef and now you are invited to snorkel and explore the marine life up close. Continue to the Nylon Pool -- a sand bank out at sea where you can swim in a protected pool. You’ll pass the lagoon as you head back to the landing at Pigeon Point Beach.Notes:Minimum age is 5 years.

This excursion takes passengers to a beautiful, but very touristy, beach area. The view of the reef was good from the boat. There weren't a lot of fish, but we really did have a good view of the reef. The best ones were dinner plate sized French Angel fish, that really seemed to like the boat. It was a good excursion for those who didn't want to snorkel, but still wanted the reef experience. The Nylon Pool is ok..not exactly what I expected, just a large shallow area off the shore where the water was warmer and about 3 feet deep. All in all, it was an enjoyable excursion but not one I would rate in my all time favorites, but an area that was very glad I got to see.
