Welcome to the world of Lance Mackey! On this tour you will visit Mackey's Comeback Kennel home to over 70 racing sled dogs. You will get to see the equipment and the athletes that propelled him to win four Iditarod and four Yukon Quest Championships. You will also be visiting the largest dog sledding museum in North America! The Bouchard Museum Collection is an impressive display of historical sledding equipment, Native Alaskan art, artifacts and much more! On your journey to Mackey's self-sufficient off the grid training grounds you will also have a chance to view the remote Trans-Alaskan Pipeline up-close while riding in a real military Hummer. On the way back into town, you will take the path less traveled along some of the most remote roads in the Fairbanks area where you will see beautiful views of the Chatanika valley and possibly see some wildlife. Next, you will arrive back at your hotel with the memories of a lifetime!
